Medline Industries Donates Medical Equipment to B.C. Health Ministry

Mexicali, Baja California- As a socially responsible global company and in support of the situation facing Baja California due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Medline Industries, a leading company in the medical industry, donates medical equipment to the Health Ministry. In coordination with the Ministry of Economy and Tourism of the State, Mexicali City Council, Index Mexicali, and Grupo Prodensa this effort was made in order to contribute and support local medical staff facing this situation.

The delivery of the donation took place on April 15th, 2020 at the facilities of the Health Secretariat in the city of Mexicali. Among the items donated are 4,000 surgical gowns and 3,000 pairs of gloves.

In our two plants in Mexicali, Tri-State de Mexico S.R. de C.V. and Productos Medline Mexicali S.R.L. de C.V. thousands of Baja Californians work every day to ensure that our products reach where they are needed and thus contribute to continuing saving lives; always committed and making sure that the health of our employees prevails by maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and prevention in our plants in order to contribute with our efforts during this contingency”.

Attending the ceremony were Marina del Pilar Avila, Mayor of Mexicali, Guillermo Salcedo, Medline Operations Manager, Gabriel Cabañas, General Coordinator of Promotion at the Ministry of Sustainable Economy and Tourism of Baja California, Dr. Sandra Martínez Lobatos, Director of Health Services, Victor Hugo Delgado, President Index Mexicali, Rene Marín, Director of Operations Index Mexicali, as well as Marco Kuljacha, VP of Prodensa and Jose Lee, Project Manager of Prodensa, the company that supported the start-up of the company in the city.
